Corporate Finance Planning & Analysis- Paris
The Group Finance department has following main fields of actions :
- Analyze assets, performance and forecast to support group CEO in driving the Group strategy and foreseen next strategies and priorities to succeed in achieving mid term goals
- works closely with business unit CEO and CFO to analyze performance, assess forecast and identify improvement drivers, support them in budgeting
- is key stakeholder in projects of modernization of processes and tools
- is responsible for production and analysis of management and statutory accounts group consolidated accounts, including the compliance to group and IFRS accounting principles
- is key stakeholder in post merger M&A operations
The FP&A department is the backbone for 3 of these 5 fields of responsibilities and is a key partner for the 2 others
Who is the Group FP&A team ?
A team of 3 people (1 FP&A manager, and 2 FP&A including you) reporting to the Executive VP – Finance and Strategy, with close business partnering with the Executive VP. The team is agile, fast working, in a pleasant atmosphere, with a genuine team spirit (support each other and combining skills of each to go ahead faster).
The team does like avoidable data crunching and likes to dedicate time to analyses.
The team always reassess the usefulness of actions and reports which must be insights driven oriented
What you will do ?
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant financial information
Develop, review and maintain the annual budget and periodic forecasts
Analyze budget variances and provide insights to management
- Performance Analysis:
Analyze financial and operational performance against key performance indicators (KPIs)
Provide insights into trends, risk / opportunities, and areas of improvement
Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Management Reporting:
Support subs in preparing their reporting
Assess reporting accuracy and compliancy with Group reporting rules - Prepare and present financial reports for management and stakeholders
Summarize and communicate financial results and key metrics
- Ad Hoc Analysis:
Conduct special financial analyses and projects as needed by management
Create and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives
Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.

- Robust hard skills
- 3-5 years of FP&A experience with strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in financial modeling and using financial software and tools.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfortable with BI tools
- Understanding of business operations and the ability to align financial strategies with overall business objectives
- Good understanding of financial & accounting principles, at least for P&L aspects + accruals
- Balancesheet and cashflow analytical skills would be a plus
English Fluency is a must
